Große Keramikplatte.
Die Vorderseite ist weiß glasiert. Diese Platte stammt von einem Kachelofen und hat die Abmessungen 60cm B mal 78cm H. Der Kachelofen stand in einem Haus der Herrenhuter Siedlung in Neuwied. Die Häuser wurden nach 1750 errichtet. Damit dürfte die Platte in der 2. Hälfte des 18. Jahrhundert gefertigt worden sein. An den unteren Ecken hat die Platte kleine Beschädigungen.

Richard Uhlemeyer, geboren 1900 in Göttingen. Besuch der Städtischen Handwerker- und Kunstgewerbeschule in Hannover. Danach als Handelsvertreter tätig. Seit 1935 eigene Töpferei*, 1938 legte er die Meisterprüfung ab. 1954 in Hannover verstorben.
*Kunsthandwerk Richard Uhlemeyer, Hannover von 1935 bis 1961. Von 1938 bis 1940 „Kunsthandwerk Uhleymer & Hobein o.H.G.“ Seit 1949 Ausweitung der Produktion und Belegschaft, Umzug in eine neue Manufakturstätte. Seit dem auch große Serienfertigung.
