Infantry officer's sword - crown sword.
Blade marked: "P. Knecht", "Solingen". Prussia.
Blade L 83 cm, total L 102 cm.
Straight, single-edged blade with broad fuller, point in the center line. Somewhat plastered etching pattern on both sides, with crowned monogram "FWR". Old style IOD grip with a crown at the pommel end. Red felt inserted into the crown (loose), probably later. Black leather scabbard with hook and portepee.
