Bust of young Achilles
Green patinated bronze, gold-bronzed hair band, marble base with swivel mount. Bronze inscribed, with foundry mark Jules Levi-Lehmann "LN Paris JL" and embossed "Bronze", "175", plaque on base "Lorient Le 23 Mai 1935". H 27 / 35 cm. 8 kg.
Young boy with hairband and looking to the side on a marble plinth with plaque. Patina partly rubbed, minimal scratches, chipped plinth.
Marble base loose. If Constant Ambroise Roux, then: French sculptor, studied at the École Nationale des Beaux Arts de Paris under Louis-Ernest Barrias. he received the Prix de Rome in 1894.
