Käthe Kruse doll "Mieke" with letter from Käthe-Kruse. Type XII H "Lucky child".
Indistinctly stamped under the left foot. Pre-1946.
Fabric. L 46 cm.
Blonde doll girl with 3 back head stitches, painted face mask and hand-knotted human hair wig. Cloth body with loosely sewn on lighter colored legs, ribbon and button on back. Younger red knitted clothing and nice grey wool coat with matching bonnet. Face paint rubbed on nose, cheek, mouth, no abnormalities under UV. Body a bit blotchy.
Accompanying original letter from Käthe Kruse dated 1946 and photo of former owner as a child with this doll.
