Madonna with the Child Jesus
Probably coniferous wood, polychrome painted, partly gilt. Trademark "entirely hand carved" of the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano/South Tyrol. Inscribed after 1969. H 68 cm.
In imitation of the Riemenschneider Madonna carved "gothic" Mother of God with the naked infant Jesus. Dry cracks, hollowed on the reverse due to weathering, signs of age/use.
