Ivory, gilt border with green mount. 11.5 x 8 cm, frame 15.5 x 12 cm.
Finely carved portrait of the English Queen.
Wilhelm P.C. Högh went to London in 1866, from 1867 he worked there as ivory carver for the nobility, in the 1880s he worked mainly for the British royal family, but primarily for Queen Victoria.
