Square bar table with 2 glazed sides, on 4 pillar legs with small castors. Table top hinged on both sides with ingenious scissor mechanism for lifting the inner part. Interior with removable side compartment. 1 key. Signs of age/use, lower table top with defects.
In the 1920s/30s, the Saxon furniture manufacturer Rockhausen produced numerous innovative type chairs, the so-called "seating furniture of the future", which today are often mentioned in the context of the Bauhaus and the Frankfurt School.
