2 Biedermeier vases with genre painting.
Unmarket, 1st half 19th c.
Dark green ground, polychrome painting, rich, partly etched resp. bronzed gold decoration. H 32,5 cm.
Ovoid vases with crater neck, two angel head handles and round base, on square plinth. On the front a rectangular cartouche with the finely painted depictions of a mother sitting at a table with her daughter, inscribed "Muttertreue" and a young woman praying in front of a Madonna, inscribed "Andacht". On both body base and wall restored on verso, 1x handles restored.
