Small cast iron stand with baroque pocket watch movement "Mayr".
1st h. 18th c./19th c.
"Johan Mayr Heidelberg" engraved brass full plate movement with floral openworked decorative elements, balance bridge with crowned coat of arms of Johann Wilhelm von der Pfalz-Neuburg (1658-1716, Elector of the Palatinate), decorated movement pillars, verge escapement, chain and fusee, key winding, supplemented movement cover, does not run. Profiled silvered dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes, leaf hands and date indication at 6, marked "Mayr".
Cast iron, burnished. H 18,5 cm.
Openwork clock case with lyre in Louis Seize style, with fluted and hooked side struts, acanthus foliate work and rosettes, on stepped square base. Probably designed as a mirror stand. Royal Prussian Foundries or Carlshütte near Rendsburg.
Without key.
