German painter, graphic artist and textile artist and co-founder of the "Erfurt studio community" (1963 - 1974). He is one of the most important Thuringian artists of the 20th century; in the Thuringian State Museum Heidecksburg Rudolstadt is the Alfred T. Mörstedt Foundation.
