Large "war chest".
Around 1680.
Wrought iron blackened younger, inside partly set with lead red lead. Wooden frame with iron wheels. Body (without frame, handles, eyelets) 53 x 101 x 56 cm, total 71 x 107 x 59 cm.
Bolted skid frame with Rädern and ringösen. Large iron chest made of strong iron sheet with bracing straps and twisted carrying handles. In the front 2 hasps for front doors and a keyhole in the shape of a horse's brow coat of arms with a false keyhole; on the hinged lid an ornamental keyhole for the lock. In the lid à-jour worked and engraved lock cover in the form of a vine-shaped grotesque. Lock with intact single lever, 13 bolt ends and 5 fixed bolts. 2 full tang keys, at least 1 of which is original. Riveted hatchet with covered keyhole for the hollow spike key. Lock with intact furniture, 3 deadbolts and ornamental bands in the same style as the main lock, but additionally chased. 1 Deckelstütze. Frame possibly supplemented(?), keyhole cover on top missing (partly supplemented), lock cover inside partly supplemented, 1 shooting bolt immobilized, signs of age / use.
