Large vase with capodimonte decor. Oldest Volkstedt.
AV mark, circa 1915.
Polychrome painted, gold decorated. H 50 cm.
Amphora vase with two lion head handles, crater neck and round base, octagonal plinth. On both sides a rectangular cartouche with a brightly colored painted putti relief. Minimal gold abrasion, minimal bumping on the loops of the laurel wreaths, hairline crack in the base, underneath breakout on the mount.
