Bottle in colorless glass. Vase of purple, colorless and yellowish glass.
German art glassblower, glass designer and glass artist; member of the Association of Visual Artists of the GDR, freelance in Lauscha. Since 1977 participation in numerous national and international exhibitions. Artistic director of the International Glass Symposia in Lauscha 1986 and 1989; "From the broad environment of lampwork glassblowers in the Thuringian Forest, who followed Albin Schaedel (1904 - 1999) from the design of animal figures into the vessel, Hubert Koch was the only one who could really break away from its model and also in the international comparison to develop a highly independent formal language. His delicate glasses, in which he often juxtaposed undecorated surfaces with echoes of natural forms,
have received many awards." In original box.
