Historicist pomp pendant set with 2 girandoles.
France. 1st half 20th century
Charles Pickard and AD Punant Paris marked movement with half hour strike on bell, running. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, minute ring and Breguet hands, marking rubbed.
White marble, bronze, partly dark patinated. Clock 62 x 35 x 20 cm, 12.4 kg. Side plates H 67,5 cm, 5,5 kg each.
Imposing lyre clock in baroque style, with childlike satyr sculptures and elaborate floral and faunal decoration. 7-flame girandoles with flame extinguishers. Minimal signs of age and wear, partial defects.
