Rare travel alarm clock with date display. JAEGER-LECOULTRE.
1930/40s. Marked on verso LeCoultre Co. Swiss, Patent N° 365 884 Fab. Suisse, movement no. 071737, case no. 60797.
8-day movement with crown winding and alarm function, running. Revision recommended. Marbled copper brown dial with fluorescent Arabic numerals, minute crown, modern spade hands, baton hands for alarm, date display with English day of the week.

Black leather case with hinged dial/clockwork and back cover, inside dealer label "Randles Bro. & Hudson Ltd." (South Africa). Side dedication engraving "Presented to Dr. Warner Cook, By the British Bowlers as a Token of Esteem and Goodwill. South African Tour 1949-50". Signs of age and wear, partial light defects, no more fluorescence.
