Silk on silk. 299 x 246 cm.
Elegant hand-knotted Turkish carpet, signed: "Aflak-Hereke". Floral patterned light ground inner field, wine red main border with floral pattern typical for Hereke. Decorative elements are woven into the kilim ends. Approximately one million knots per square meter. Very good condition.
