Model by Christian Gottfried Jüchtzer 1786. counterpart to model no. G 86 "Allegory-The Hope". White porcelain. Press marks, sword mark, crowned underglaze blue monogram FA with (inventory no.) 182 of King Friedrich August III. Small flower stem minimally bumped in hand.
Friedrich August III, 1865 Dresden- 1932 Sibyllenort Castle, 1904-1918 last king of Saxony. Jüchtzer, modeller, since 1794 model master at the Meissen manufactory. Created most of the bisque sculpture, mainly in the style of antiquity * Partner auction Bergmann.
