Small jug Roessler/Bautzen, large "X/1708" hallmarked. 19th c.
Pewter, each engraved/braided. H 26 and 25 cm respectively.
Small wedding jug with exceedingly richly engraved surface: couple in heart with motto, on the lid "J. Schreiber a: Neschwitz 1936." / Larger jug with finely engraved Fall of Man and motto, on the lid "A. Stein 1806". Large jug lid crack on the pusher and more dented, each some signs of age / use.
Carl Wilhelm Roessler becomes master in Bautzen in 1819, mentioned until 1861.
