Pair of large 7-flame girandoles in Empire style.
Probably 2nd half 19th century
Bronze partly lightly patinated, wooden core in the base. H 56 cm. Total 9.8 kg.
Magnificent relief candlesticks with swans, aigicrania and lyres on 3-sided base. Fluted column shaft with mascarons at the base, star-shaped arm attachment with raised central spout. Slipped arm attachment and some arms, 1 base cover plate incorrectly mounted (screw connection loose), 1 decorative disc under the wax plate missing, subsequently zaponiert.
