Baroque lidded goblet.
Probably Saxony, c. 1740.
Colorless glass. H 29.5 cm.
Tapered dome, pommel lid with pierced bubble, faceted baluster stem with pierced bubble, round base; demolition. On the front between lentil and olive cut borders the engraved coat of arms of the noble family of Zanthier, verso the ligatured monogram "OFZ" flanked by commemorative stones. Small chip at the foot.
Provenance : From Thuringian nobility.
