Baroque goblet glass with wooden base.
Probably Brandenburg, around 1740/50.
Colorless glass, gold rim; wood. H 16 cm.
Tapered dome, baluster stem with pierced air bubble, old supplemented wooden base. On the dome under an olive cut border the engraved representation of an alliance coat of arms with crossed keys and a running fox, verso between two flaming hearts and two hands rising from clouds and grasping each other the saying "Treu und beständigkeit soll unsre losung seyn / und niemand trennet uns als nur der / tod allein"..
Provenance : From Thuringian nobility property.
