Silver-jacketed ceremonial staff and silver chain and cap.
South America (possibly Bolivia, Peru).
Mainly silver, but some suspensions on the staff also made of base metal.
Wooden staff with multi-part sheathing and applications. On the upper part numerous suspensions and shields with Christian symbols, including "Anselmo Contreras Momairo". The pommel at the top is heavily dented, some signs of age and use. L 80 cm. / Very beautifully crafted silver breast pendant with two donkeys and ornamental elements. To be fixed with two hooks. Approx. 19 x 21 cm. / In addition, typical for the Andes knitted cap and small woolen piece with coin pendants from different regions, including dated 1817, 1860, 1865.
