The showgirl focuses on the representation of physical attributes and beauty. Revue girls already appeared at the end of the 19th century in the Parisian vaudevilles, the most famous show dance was the cancan. The development of erotic dance began, the naked body became more and more established as an integral part of vaudeville revues. Signed: Francois Didier. Gold mount, glazed gilt stucco frame.
