Oval, frosted etched bowl of light blue bubbled glass with opal yellow inner rim and a mounted strip with zigzag pattern of cobalt blue and opal yellow glass strips.

Horst Stauber was born in 1943 in Markt Eisenstein, Bohemia. He enjoyed an education in the glass school Zwiesel, studied in the 1960s, including in Venice and worked in the glass art Dorado Murano. He later enriched his work as a glass artist with graphic studies in Vienna and training as a metal designer. Stauber had exhibitions in Vienna, Paris, Venice and Toronto, among others, and returned to Passau in the 1980s. The offered bowl was created on the background of his stays / his studies in Venice.
