If Leo Putz, then: painter in Munich and Rio de Janeiro (1869 Merano - 1940 ibid.), studied in Munich with Poetzelberger, then with Hackl at the Academy ibid, in Paris at the Académie Julian. Founding member of the Scholle, member of the Berlin, Vienna and Munich Secessions. His art was classified as "degenerate" during the Third Reich and he fled to South Tyrol.
