Large ceramic table lamp with backlit ornament.
China circa 1920.
À-jour ceramic glazed green and paper backed, ebonized wooden base and cover. H base and baluster 57 cm, H total 85 - 105 cm possible.
Hexagonal baluster body decorated on all sides with fine openwork ornament, which can be backlit by the lamp inside. On the cover 2 switches for the interior lamp and for the two screw sockets on the height-adjustable strut, respectively. The sockets are extra once again switchable. 1 wooden strip is missing, strut with the sockets is loose on the main strut, glaze minimally crackled, without shade.
