Full leather binding includes Aratos of Soloi: "Phainomena" (celestial phenomena) in Greek and Latin version with constellations. Front endpapers corrugated, leather binding with signs of age, numerous handwritten annotations in the Greek part.
Restored according to the consignor / Grotius is one of the founders of political sovereignty thought, natural law doctrine and enlightened international law.
