Large Art Nouveau pendule with group of figures "L`Immortalité" after Louis Auguste and Hippolyte François Moreau.
France. Circa 1900. on the base a plaque "L`immortalité par L. & F. Moreau", stamped on the side "L. & F. Moreau", foundry stamp.
"F. Marti" marked movement with half hour strike on bell, movement no. 679. Running, revision recommended. White enamel dial with colored floral painting, Arabic numerals, minute ring and Romaines hands.
Reddish marble, bronzed metal casting, bronze. Approx. 82 x 46.5 x 20.5 cm. 18 kg.
Elegant stepped case, crowned by two allegorical Art Nouveau girls with a plaque "Le génie a pour son domaine l`immortalité" (Meaning translation: To the genius belongs immortality.). Signs of age and use, dial glass and figure attributes missing, partial slight defects, top slightly loosened.
With pendulum, without key.
