Pompous interior of a Venetian palazzo. Exceedingly detailed and finely painted. Included a stage floor plan with stage plan of the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, sketches and notes by the artist, all sheets with monogram stamp. Mounted, glazed frame with gilded stucco molding and as new glazed frame.

Dobuzinskij, painter, draftsman, scenographer, illustrator, studied at the drawing school of the Society for the Promotion of the Arts in St. Petersburg. 1899-1901 with Anton Azbe in Munich. In 1902 member of the artists' association Mir Iskusstva, in 1922 professor at the academy in St. Petersburg. Since 1924 active in various theaters in Lithuania, alternately in Paris and London, from 1939 resident in the USA * Partner auction Bergmann.
