12lobed silver, gilt interior. Height: 13.5 cm. 474 grams.
Frontal applied relief coat of arms, reverse engraved dedication to Major von Fabeck. In the lid spiral engraved name inscription dedicated to Prince Albrecht of Prussia Royal Highness (1809 Königsberg - 1872 Berlin, son of King William III and Queen Luise, brother of Kings Frederick William IV and William I). Hallmarks: 1st drawing master Johann Wilhelm David Friedrich, 2nd drawing master Lars Thomas Wendelboe, master mark, fineness, tremmulierstrich. A scratch on the inner lid.
Hossauer, 1794-1874, goldsmith and silversmith, founded a precious metal factory in Berlin in 1819. 1826 goldsmith of His Majesty the King Frederick William III, worked for the European nobility * partner auction miner.
