Model by Ernst Julius Hähnel 1881. colored painted, gold painted. Incised mark, press mark, sword mark once painted, artist's signet. Bow, ribbon, quiver, three hands, toes on one foot, one cloth tip, base rim, column partially restored, one fire crack, one brown glaze stain.
Hähnel, sculptor, studied at the academies in Dresden, Munich and Florence. From 1848 professor at the academy in Dresden. Meissen acquired 1848-1884 a total of 39 models, mainly reductions of his existing works * Partner auction Bergmann.
