Model by Heinrich Möller 1898. Aesop, Greek fable poet around 600 BC. Painted in color, gold painted. Incised mark, press mark, painter's mark, sword mark. Mane, ears and tail with rope, a boy's upper body, a leaf, staff tip restauirert, hairline crack on an ankle.
Möller, sculptor, studied at the Academy in Dresden. Student of Johannes Schilling. Meissen acquired two models * partner auction Bergmann.
