1898-1923. model no. Q 190 g.
Height: 14.5 cm.
Model by Hugo Spieler 1897-1898. From a series of 25 traditional costume figures. Painted in color. Incised mark, press mark, painter's mark, sword mark. One forearm with hand, one foot restored, pipe set, base edge minimally bumped from below, staff added, the restored forearm glued.
Player, sculptor, studied at the Academy in Munich. Active in Dresden since 1880, professor in 1891. Meissen acquired about 30 models in 1890-1899 * Partner auction Bergmann.
