Parade cuirass for officers of the Garde du Corps.
About 1912. Prussia.
Parade piece of gold-colored tombac with nickel silver mountings, long chinscales on renewed leather, clasps with applied oak leaf decoration (repairs here) and silver lion heads on top, lining possibly added more recently. Comes with a bandolier in silver with red trim and a small cartouche box of black leather with guard star. Scratches on the back, repairs to the ends of the chinscales.
