Rosewood and other woods veneered. Approx. 74 x 48.5 x 36 cm.
Sophisticated, kidney-shaped piece of ladies' furniture on 4 sabre legs with an openable reading or writing desk, 2 small side compartments for utensils and 2 small central drawers, 2 concealed secret compartments behind the drawers, top panel with integrated compartment under the desk top; richly decorated with cube marquetry and herringbone marquetry on all sides. Signs of age/wear, dry cracks, veneer with minimal retouches.
