Walnut, cherry, plum, maple and other woods veneered/marked. Maximum size 13 x 29.5 x 23 cm.
Each with hinged lids. The large casket with a depiction of a bird on a branch, reminiscent of Marburg finch chests. The lid has a mirror in a gold strip frame and a low compartment / Casket with wavy and fluted walls and a star on the lid. The interior completely marked with a three-dimensional dice pattern / Cigar box or tea caddy with cantoned corners and mouldings; partly ebonized. 1 lock missing. A few traces of age/use in places.
