Black marble mantel clock with 2 side plates.
France. Circa 1900. movement no. 427.
"F. Marti" marked movement with half-hour strike on bell. Functional in short time test. White enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals, minute ring and Romaines hands, recessed center with visible Brocot escapement.
Black and red-yellow veined marble. Clock H 38 cm, 13 kg. Side plate H 24 cm, 3.8 kg.
High stepped case with round head and volute decoration on the side, faceted pendulum window. Comes with 2 matching side plates with crowning foot bowls. Partially small edge chips.
