1st half 20th century
Goat's hair and wool, finely hand-knotted. Red monochrome decoration, brown, blue, orange, ivory. Approx. 325 x 253 cm.
Latticework with 6 x 13 rows of large tekke güls and accompanying kurbaghe güls. Wide border with a band of radiating octagons and a variety of Turkmen patterns. Narrow sides with a diamond pattern, kilim finish, knotted fringes. Slight signs of age and wear, fringe finish probably repaired.
