Porcelain, jug with lithophane base, colored overprints, 1x metal mount. H 18 and 17 cm respectively.
Reservist jug with portrait of Frederick II, city view, soldier scenes and mottoes. "Reservist Schuster, 11th Comp. Füs.Rgt. v. Gersdorff Kurhess. No. 80 Homburg 1907-09" and printed list of names. Lithophane: Soldier's farewell / pipe stub with jacket cover, soldierly scenes and sayings "Reservist Mank, 5th Escadr. 1st Hess. Hussaren Regiment König Humbert von Italien Nr. 13 Bockenheim, 1895/98" with painted list of names and signature "E. Bögelmann Colmar". Jug without lid, jug and pipe lid somewhat rubbed.
