Small Empire pendulum with Apollo as leader of the Muses and attributes of science.
France. 1st half 19th century
Unmarked movement with half-hour strike on bell, pendulum with thread suspension. Functional in short time test. Chased dial with tongue frieze lunette and Roman numerals, Breguet hands.
Bronze, gilt. H 27.5 cm. 2.3 kg.
Straight base with classicist appliqué decoration, crowned by a standing youth in antique costume with laurel wreath and feather, next to attributes of geography. Slight signs of age, rubbed numerals, without movement cover.
With key and pendulum.
