German landscape, portrait and still life painter, self-taught, member of the Reichsverband bildender Künstler Deutschlands, participated in the exhibitions of the Munich Secession in the Munich Glaspalast from 1910, the Great German Art Exhibition in the House of German Art in Munich from 1937-43, member and from 1931 jury member of the Luitpold Group, member of the Munich Artists' Association, active in Munich.
