Enclosed expertise by Dario Succi, excerpt: "Questo bellissimo dipinto [...] rientra certamente nell'ambito di quel gruppo di decorazioni floreali che sono state attribuite a Francesco Guardi (Venezia 1712-1793) da autorevoli studiosi dell'arte veneziana del Settecento, tra cui Giuseppe Fiocco, Rudolfo Pallucchini, Antonio Morassi, sulla base di argomentazioni stilistiche, come la leggerezza delle ariose composizioni costruite con pennellate, sfarfallanti, campite su fondi brunacei o grigio-azzurri e spesso arricchite da inserti di vasi cermici, uccelli, cesti di vimini e piatti inclinati posti su basi rocciose."
