Stauber had exhibitions in Vienna, Paris, Venice and Toronto, among other places, and returned to Passau in the 1980s. The bowl on offer was created against the backdrop of his stays/studies in Venice. It takes up the shape of the gondola and abstracts form and color at a high artistic level.
