Russian shape. Straight, single-edged blade with a broad fuller and a point in the midline. Blade with rich etching pattern. Lightly gilt hilt with a heart-shaped, raised guard plate and straight quillons. Ball pommel with disk screw. Grip with dense, triple wire winding. Something was originally hammered into it.
