Sword for cuirassier officers, with guard star.

Blade L 79.5 cm, total L 102 cm.
Also known as a cuirassier officer's interim sword. Straight double-edged blade with a central ridge. Heart-shaped, slightly curved guard plate with a shell end, straight quillons protruding through one end of the guard plate. One side hinged. Grip with silver-coloured wire winding and guard star. Ball pommel with conical screw knob. Black leather scabbard, broken several times. Comes with portepee.
