Sold to the German Naval Observatory Hamburg, Gesundbrunnen branch on 31.01.1944. Case No. 1079590, Movement No. 202445.
"A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte i. Sa." marked and gilt 2/3 plate movement, caliber 48, lever escapement, nickel-steel balance with regulating screws, blued Breguet balance spring, swan-neck fine adjustment, crown winding. Running. Silver-plated dial with Arabic numerals, minute ring, small second and power reserve indicator, blued pear-shaped hands.
900/half moon/crown hallmarked, ALS company mark. Ø 6 cm. 170 g.
Smooth "Lucia" case, silver inner lid with company mark Gustav Rau. Dial with yellow tint, slight signs of wear.
With certificate from the Glashütte Watch Museum dated July 4, 2010 and 2 copies from the original shipping book.
