Large pictorial cup, saucer. KPM Berlin.
1837-1844.
Height: 13 cm, ø 18 cm.
Ornamental gold decoration, gold staffage, front with fine colored painting "Die Warnung vor der Wassernixe" after a painting by Ferdinand Theodor Hildebrandt (1804-1874). Cylindrical cup on three paw feet, partially raised volute handle in relief. Blue sceptre marks above KPM, impressed mark. Handle, one paw partially restored.
