Large pictorial cup, saucer.
Late 19th century.
Height: 12.5 cm, ø 16.5 cm.
Gold decoration, the front with very fine colored painting after the painting by Carl Joseph Begas (1794-1854) "Die Mohrenwäsche". Cylindrical cup on three paw feet, partially raised volute handle in relief. Large painter's marks G, impressed marks. Saucer rim partially restored, rubbed, gold partially reworked.
