Art deco cup, saucer. St. Petersburg.
Second half of the 20th century.
Height: 8 cm, ø 12 cm.
Painted in color, painted gold. Decor after a design by Wassilij Wassiljewitsch Kandinsky (1866-1944). Green and blue bottom marks, Cyrillic lettering in black, etched lettering handdecorated St. Petersburg 1744.
A watercolor by Kandinsky with the cup motif can be found in the museum of the Lomonosov Porcelain Manufactory * partner auction Bergmann.
