Smooth case with engraved monogram, gold inner cover. Dial, case and movement signed. Three-quarter plate anchor movement with swan-neck fine adjustment, diamond endstone, four screwed chatons. White enamel dial, Arabic numerals, small second, open-worked hands. Crown winding mechanism. Functional in the short-term test. Minimal dents, scratches.
Julius Assmann, 1827 Stettin - 1886 Glashütte, worked for Adolf Lange in Glashütte from 1850, started his own pocket watch production in 1852. In 1875, his son Paul took over the company, which was continued until 1933 * Partner auction Bergmann.
